The Direct Process
1. Your Inquiry
You reach out through my inquiry form or send a direct email with your prospective travel dates and ideas.
2. The Dialogue & Framing
I touch base directly to align on your preferred pace, architectural focus, and neighborhood rhythm.
3. The Proposal
I send a clear, tailored outline detailing the format, timing, and total cost for your walk.
4. Locking Your Date
Once you approve the proposal, I provide secure payment details. Upon payment, your date is permanently reserved on my calendar.
The Language
All private experiences are conducted with absolute fluency in English or native mastery in Italian—serving as a warm, seamless cultural bridge for international travelers.
Execution
Every tour is 100% private, conducted entirely on foot, and personally led by Denis Spedalieri, Licensed NYC Tour Guide.
HOW TO SECURE YOUR DATE
A straightforward timeline for independent, custom walks.
Because my calendar tracks a limited number of independent, custom walks each month—whether it’s a 2-hour walk in a single neighborhood or a multi-day narrative across the five boroughs—dates are secured through a straightforward timeline:
1. The Securement Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to permanently lock your date and time slot on my calendar. This immediately initiates the custom framing of your itinerary.
2. The Final Balance
The remaining 50% balance is due exactly 14 days prior to your scheduled tour.
3. Spontaneous Bookings
Walks requested and confirmed within 14 days of execution require 100% full payment upfront to lock the calendar block.

To ensure your focus remains entirely on the unscripted narrative of the streets, my reservation and payment process is completely secure and direct:
For US Guests (Direct & Fee-Free): If you have a US bank account or mobile payment setup, I provide preferred direct options to avoid platform processing fees. I accept payment via Zelle or direct Chase / ACH bank transfer.
For International Guests (Wise): If you are traveling from overseas, I send payment details via Wise so you can transfer easily in your local currency and avoid heavy international wire or currency conversion fees.
Digital Wallets & Cards (PayPal): If you prefer using major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, or standard checkout, I provide a secure PayPal link. No account or app download is required.
Exclusions
Public transportation/taxi fares, food, beverages, and discretionary gratuities are not included.
